Alexandru Voica is the Head of Corporate Affairs and Policy at Synthesia, the UK’s largest generative AI company and the world’s leading AI video platform with more than 65,000 global customers. With over 15 years of experience in technology, communications, and public policy, he has shaped strategy at some of the world’s most influential tech companies, including Meta, Arm, NetEase, and Ocado.
Trained as a computer scientist with an MSc from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, Alexandru brings a rare blend of technical depth and policy expertise to the global AI conversation. He also serves as an advisor to MBZUAI, the world’s first AI university in Abu Dhabi, where he helps guide governance and innovation initiatives at the intersection of AI, business, and society.
