Eric Schurenberg is the Founder of the Alliance for Trust in Media, a non-profit helping newsrooms rebuild trust with audiences and helping the public identify credible information in an era of disinformation. A two-time National Magazine Award and Loeb Award winner, Eric previously served as CEO of Inc. and Fast Company, Editor-in-Chief of Money, and Assistant Managing Editor at Fortune, and was the Founding Editor of CBS MoneyWatch. He is also Editor-in-Chief at Amplify Publishing Co. and a Distinguished Instructor of Journalism at the University of Chicago.

As a journalist and media leader, Eric has shaped the conversation around business, credibility, and truth in the digital age. He also hosts the podcast In Reality, focused on disinformation and the media’s role in democracy.
