Karim Amer
Karim Amer is an Emmy, BAFTA, and Academy Award nominated filmmaker known for his bold investigative documentaries and global social impact storytelling. His work includes HBO’s The Vow, Showtime’s The Lincoln Project, and Amazon’s Flight Risk, which earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Investigative Documentary. His Netflix film The Great Hack premiered at Sundance, was shortlisted for the Oscars, and received both BAFTA and Emmy nominations.
Karim also produced the Golden Globe winning series Ramy, the Oscar nominated animation The Breadwinner, and the Emmy winning documentary The Square. His recent works include Defiant and All That’s Left of You. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
