Nosipho Maketo-van den Bragt is the CEO and owner of Chocolate Tribe, a leading African studio specializing in animation, visual effects (VFX), and content development. Her leadership has earned recognition from EY’s Entrepreneurial Winning Women (EMEIA) Class of 2024, the Nasdaq “I AM” campaign, and the FMX Advisory Board. A former attorney turned creative entrepreneur, Nosipho is known for combining business strategy with creative innovation to grow Africa’s presence in the global entertainment industry.

In 2021, she founded AVIJOZI NPC, Chocolate Tribe’s non-profit initiative connecting African and global talent in animation, VFX, and interactive technology. Through its annual festival and school roadshows, AVIJOZI has reached nearly 5,000 participants, offering free access to masterclasses, mentorship, and internships for young creators.

At BRIDGE Summit, Nosipho will share how she builds creative ecosystems that nurture African talent, drive collaboration, and tell stories with global relevance.
