Derya Matras
Vice President, EMEA, Meta
Derya Matras is Vice President for EMEA at Meta, leading operations and business across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger in the region. She has been recognized by Forbes as one of the Top 30 Most Influential CEOs and Top 5 Women Leaders in Tech in the Middle East, and by Fortune in its 40 Under 40 list. Since joining Meta in 2015, she has driven major growth across the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and later the United Kingdom and Northern Europe.
Her career spans leadership roles across media, retail, and management consulting, including a long tenure at McKinsey and Company. She serves on the board of Make A Wish International and is a member of YPO London. Derya holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University, and is known for championing digital inclusion and women’s empowerment.
