Julia Stuart
Julia Stuart is an award-winning film executive and Director of International Film at STUDIO TF1, where she leads a new venture developing and financing major English-language films for global audiences. Named one of The Hollywood Reporter’s Most Powerful Women in International Television (2024), Julia has built a distinguished career shaping some of the biggest successes in modern film and TV.
Before joining TF1, Julia spent nearly two decades at Sky, where she rose to become Director of Original Film, building and leading the team behind Sky’s award-winning slate, including Promising Young Woman, May December, Ferrari, The Beekeeper, and LEE starring Kate Winslet. Earlier, as Head of Acquisitions, she negotiated landmark deals that brought Mad Men, 24, The Simpsons, and House to Sky, and secured major partnerships with HBO, Showtime, and all major studios; playing a key role in launching Sky Atlantic, Sky Q, and the Sky Store Buy & Keep service.
At BRIDGE Summit, Julia Stuart will share insights from building international hit slates and navigating the evolving relationship between studios and streamers. She’ll explore what makes a story travel globally; and how creative and commercial instincts combine to deliver success in today’s film industry.
