Mo Abudu is the Founder and CEO of EbonyLife Group, encompassing EbonyLife Media, EbonyLife Creative Academy, and EbonyLife Place. She is a trailblazer in African media, producing globally acclaimed films and series through partnerships with Netflix, Sony, and the BBC. EbonyLife became the first African company to sign a multi-title deal with Netflix, marking a milestone for the continent’s creative industry. A Harvard Executive Fellow and TIME100 and Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women honoree, Mo also serves on the International Emmys and Oscars boards.

Before launching EbonyLife, Mo led HR at ExxonMobil Nigeria, founded Vic Lawrence & Associates, and co-developed Nigeria’s first purpose-built Protea Hotel. She is currently raising a $50 million Afro Film Fund, expanding EbonyLife ON Plus, and establishing EbonyLife Place London, a cultural hub celebrating African creativity.
