Adeline Hulin is Head of the Media and Information Literacy and Digital Competencies Unit at UNESCO in Paris, where she leads global initiatives that strengthen digital skills, media literacy, and responsible information ecosystems. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University Paris II Panthéon Assas, a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University Paris Dauphine, and a BA in Political Science from the Bordeaux Institute of Political Studies, grounding her policy work in rigorous academic expertise.
She previously served in UNESCO’s Brussels Office, managing partnerships with EU institutions on freedom of expression and access to information, and coordinating the Social Media 4 Peace project. Before joining UNESCO, Adeline worked at the OSCE in the Office of the Representative on Freedom of the Media, where she oversaw programs related to media regulation and press freedom.
At BRIDGE Summit, Adeline will examine the skills, frameworks, and safeguards required to navigate today’s digital information landscape, exploring how media literacy can counter misinformation, empower citizens, and sustain trust in an era of rapid technological change.
