Christie Marchese is the Founder and CEO of Kinema and EVP of Entertainment Partnerships at Publicis Media. Kinema is a global streaming and screening event platform that uses community and social interaction to distribute films and series. She previously founded Picture Motion, an impact entertainment agency acquired by Publicis Media in 2024 as part of PMCI Entertainment.
Christie has led impact campaigns and digital strategies for films and organizations at Righteous Pictures, Participant Media, and Norman Lear’s nonprofit Declare Yourself. She is the co-author of The Distribution Playbook and has been recognized as one of Fortune’s Rising Female Founders and Fast Company’s Most Creative People. She currently serves on the boards of Subject Matter, The Redford Center, and The Reinvent Stockton Foundation, and on the Capacity Council for Brown Girls Doc Mafia. She holds a BA from San Diego State University in International Security and Conflict Resolution and Comparative Religions, with a concentration in Arabic and the Middle East.
