Sir Oliver Dowden is the former Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and has spent more than twenty years at the highest levels of government. He has overseen technology, culture, economic security, international investment, and strategic decision making for multiple administrations. His experience includes senior advisory roles to four Prime Ministers and leadership across several major government departments.
He has represented the United Kingdom at the United Nations General Assembly, the Security Council, and in bilateral engagements at Head of Government and CEO level. Sir Oliver chairs the All Party Parliamentary Group on the UAE and Conservative Friends of India and continues to serve as Member of Parliament for Hertsmere. He advises Caxton and Francisco Partners as a senior strategic counsel.
