Maggie Schmerin
Maggie Schmerin is the Chief Advertising Officer at United Airlines, where she leads a global team of marketers behind the airline’s “Good Leads The Way” brand platform. Under her leadership, United has been recognized among Ad Age’s Top Ten Marketers of the Year and Fast Company’s Brands That Matter. A passionate advocate for authentic storytelling, she has been named an Adweek Marketing Vanguard, Campaign Live CMO 50, Forbes Entrepreneurial CMO 50, Adweek 50, and Ad Age Leading Women honoree.
Before taking on her current role, Maggie joined United in 2017 as a company spokeswoman and head of consumer PR. Previously, she was Senior Vice President at Edelman, working across the US, UK, and Canada with brands such as Shell, Kellogg’s, Mars, Samsung, and Heineken.
